Ozge is an architectural designer and educator based in Seattle. She teaches design studios and history /theory classes at the University of Washington and Seattle University and contributes to Architects Without Borders - Seattle as a designer. Her work is immersed in interdisciplinary and collaborative processes, with an emphasis on fostering built environments that are environmentally and culturally regenerative, resilient and equitable.

Ozge is passionate about bringing critical and creative thinking together. She values careful listening, clear communication and well organized work processes. In addition to her involvement in community projects with Architects Without Borders – Seattle and AIA Seattle Committee on Homelessness, Ozge contributed to architectural consulting projects that focus on spaces for early childhood education.

Ozge’s design studios spotlight community building through architectural design with a strong emphasis on site analysis and research. Her history / theory classes critically engage the built environment at local, regional and global scales.

Ozge has published articles in peer reviewed journals in both English and Turkish, presented her work in academic conferences and received research awards. She holds a PhD in the Built Environment from the University of Washington, a master's degree in History of Architecture and a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Istanbul Technical University. 

Other than teaching and designing, Ozge loves reading fiction, yoga, outdoors and travelling.
